1. What does a Kids Life Coach do?

My role in your child’s life is to enhance, support, and build. I am the guide on the side, showing your child what he or she is truly capable of. I help anchor confidence in a way that feels natural and support your child pilot his mind and body through choices and behaviors.

2. What makes my Life Coaching Program unique?

My coaching program is personalized & holistic in nature, targeting multiple facets in your child’s life. I work to enhance your child’s inner understanding of self in a way that feels empowering & natural. Your child will learn key tools through interactive, play-based activities, allowing for him or her to take ownership of those skills. This gives your child an opportunity to create long term positive life-style habits.

3. What does the Program include?

My coaching program consists of eight one on one coaching sessions and two family sessions, amounting to a total of ten sessions. I do an initial ‘no obligation’ family consultation prior to the start of the program. There after, I suggest the following schedule: Four weekly core foundation sessions, one parent/child family session, four fortnightly booster sessions, & one parent/child family session. We always end our program with a family celebration.

4. Why should I get a Kid’s Life Coach for my Child?

If any of the following words give you inspiration, then Kids Life Coaching is a good fit for you and your family… emotional resilience, goal-setting, motivation, confidence, courage, self-worth, grit, inspiration, change, joy & fun.

Kids Life Coaching is a launchpad for future success in your child. It is the place for your child to understand himself and get to the root of personal awareness.

5. Is Kids Coaching only for children with targeted problems?

All children can benefit for coaching as the tools they learn help better manage the inevitable ups and downs of life. Because of its multifaceted, personalized nature, coaching targets common areas of life that all of us encounter. Some of these include stress reduction, communication, self-care, friendships and healthy habits.

6. Is Kids Coaching the same as Psychotherapy?

No, Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy. If your child suffers from a psychological illness, please contact a licensed psychiatrist or psychologist. Coaching can link well with psychotherapy sessions and can occur in tandem. I am happy to work alongside other specialists and align our goals to create the best outcomes for your child.

7. How is Kids Life Coaching different from therapy?

Coaching applies a holistic approach to the child as opposed to a solution targeted model. We use a lifestyle assessment tool to create a picture of your child’s life and use that to deliver a fun and interactive program that caters to self-awareness, and self-growth while providing tools and resources for the long-term.

8. What age is suitable for Coaching?

We see best results in our program for children ages seven to twelve.

9. Where will the sessions take place?

We use a calm, inviting space at the 3house in the south of Antwerp. Check their website here

10. What do I tell my child when they ask why I am taking them to a Coaching Consultation?

Coaching is a space where you can become a better, stronger version of you. A place where you will learn tools to do things that make you feel good, understand yourself and really just have fun along the way.
